For programmes based on, or about music and musicians. This category can include documentaries, features and the use of commercial recordings.

AWARD OBJECTIVE
• To recognize excellence in New Zealand produced music programming for radio.
• To recognize innovation, creativity, and technical excellence in the production of music programming.

AWARD DESCRIPTION
This award is made to individuals or production teams to recognize excellence in the recording and presentation of New Zealand produced music programmes. An objective of the award is to encourage the development of the highest standards of music production by New Zealand broadcasting professionals.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
• Audio must be a maximum of 10 minutes duration.   This may be a selection of highlights from a single feature or a selection taken from a range of features across the award year.
• Written submissions must not exceed 600 words. See details further below.

Video uploads will be allowed for this category.  Duration is to be no longer than 2 minutes (approx 20MB). Edited highlights videos can be created for your radio award entry, but any filmed footage included in them must be from the original and not re-created.
